Below is my collection of electrical outlets/sockets, light switches, and other simliar hardware - another everyday object that I think deserves a closer look! There is a surprising variety in designs, and yet, the basic design has changed surprisingly little in over 100 years. This collection contains various common standard types, as well as some more unusual types found in more specific applications, plus some older types. I find these at thrift stores, yard sales and flea markets, hardware stores, etc.
